More importantly, further study is needed on whether the present study's in vitro findings are clinically relevant.

Until clinical studies are available, physicians should be cautious about the prescription of nebulized mixtures. The SideStream and VentStream-Pro offer good aerosol performance when nebulizing budesonide or beclomethasone alone, and when mixed with albuterol and ipratropium.
